HOW TO SELL YOUR JEWELRY

We have dedicated jewelry buyers on premise and ready to help, but we suggest calling or making an appointment Monday through Saturday, to ensure that we’re prepared for your visit. During your visit, our jewelry buyer will carefully examine your items to determine the quality and condition of your pieces(s). There are many factors which impact value, but we assess:

  • checkmark Metal content (14k vs 18k gold vs platinum for example)
  • checkmark Total weight of the metal
  • checkmark Gems, such as diamonds
  • checkmark Quality of the materials

Icing On The Ring offers complimentary appraisals upon request, should you want to insure your jewelry purchase. The appraised value will represent the retail replacement cost of your jewelry, sufficient to cover you should you need to file a loss or damage claim with your insurance company. For jewelry not purchased from Icing On The Ring, we offer appraisal services for $55 per item.
